Dr. George Mark, IV was a dedicated husband, father, trusted colleague, friend, and mentor. He was both a partner in the Heart House Cardiology Practice and a Cooper Heart faculty member.
A member of the Cooper Family for 17 years, Dr. Mark is described by patients and colleagues as “innovative, kind, brilliant, compassionate and always putting patient and staff safety first.” He was innovative and creative bringing new approaches to patient care to Cooper. Dr. Mark is especially remembered for his pioneering work in Cooper’s Cardiac Electrophysiology (EP) labs.
Dr. Mark left a lasting impact and legacy on all of us. To honor his incredible gifts, we will be dedicating our newest EP lab opening shortly in his name. This EP lab itself is filled with state-of-the-art equipment he helped bring to our program to more safely and effectively treat our patients. The lab is also filled with Dr. Mark’s legacy of innovation, compassion, and patient centered care. We will work to honor that storied legacy daily in Dr. Mark’s lab.
Right now, your contribution can have twice the impact. Thanks to some generous anonymous donors, all gifts in memory of Dr. Mark will be matched, dollars for dollar, up to $50,000. To make a gift in Dr. Mark’s memory, please complete the form below.
